Bertha’s
lead guitarist, Flawless is exactly as her name suggests. She began her
musical mayhem as a pianist then moved onto drums. Soon after that she
discovered disco and the vibraslap. Her musical career has careered through
instruments, styles and stages.
Inspired
by the likes of Ani Difranco, Hendrix, Diana Ross, The Chilli Peppers
and Rage Against the Machine, Flawless continues to be one of the major
songwriters for Bertha Control. No matter what time of the day, Funk,
Disco, Rock, Folk and Flamenco drip from her string-hardened fingertips
as she plucks out a new lick. Thus bringing her songwriting to greater
feats of masterdom. Poetry and political verse partnered by counter melodies
on guitar, trademark Flawless as one of Brisbane’s lead guitarist
and songwriters.
